Sachiko's Porterhouse Restaurant defines what a steakhouse should be. While its "to-die-for" steaks are the norm, the menu also offers a wide selection of beef, lamb, seafood and chicken dishes. They have been in business for 35 years and it shows; they are one of the fine restaurants that gets it right.  The on-site facilities include private dining rooms and an in-house bakery that turns out incredibly wonderful pastries. 
When most Lynchburger's hear the name "Sachiko's", they know exactly what it means...a memorable experience in fine dining, brought to the community by owners Sachiko Tawny and chef, Reinhard Eber. Does the thought of Black Angus filets, New Zealand Rack of Lamb, Salmon Wellington or a unique selection of schnitzels get the juices flowing? If so, Sachiko's Porterhouse is the place. Besides the wonderful food, the ambience is totally conducive to a relaxing, pampered experience. If one has to wait to be seated, the plush couches and comfortable chairs will make the wait a pleasurable experience. Of course the bar with its elegant mahogany paneling is just a few steps away. The restaurant is open nightly for dining from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is closed on Sunday and generally closes for three weeks in January. Attire is casual but reservations are recommended.
